The new Invisible Children online store has many items under $25 dollars; the items range from scarfs ($20), shirts ($10-$20), hoodies ($45), & Documentary DVDs ($10).
Many of their designs are very unique and incredible, and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Invisible Children organization. And well, what's better than that?
I think I just found one store for all of my holiday & gift shopping, and I hope you did too.
You can browse the Invisible Children online store HERE.

When studying the factors involved in world hunger, many overlook meat production and consumption.
I turned into a vegan, mainly due to the efficiency of producing a vegan meal in comparison to a meat meal. In other words, with the same amount of resources one can produce more vegetarian/vegan meals than meaty meals.
When raising livestock for consumption, the meat-manufacturer must feed the animal continuously. For example, imagine all the food that a farmer feeds a pig before killing it, and compare that to the relatively small amount of food that actually comes from the dead pig. Instead of that mistreated pig, all those resources could have fed a human being, namely one of the 16,000 children who die every day from hunger.
“The 4.8 pounds of grain fed to cattle to produce one pound of beef for human beings represents a colossal waste of resources in a world still teeming with people who suffer from profound hunger and malnutrition.” -Jim Motavalli

Heroes star and activist Hayden Panettiere updated her Myspace blog this morning. In it Hayden writes about how she is trying to gather 1 million signatures on behalf of the Whaleman Foundation in attempt to stop the senseless slaughter of whales in Japan, Norway and Iceland.
Hayden writes: Please sign my Petition on SocialVibe.com. I need 1 million signatures! Current mood: optimistic As my one-year anniversary trip to Japan to save the whales nears, I have decided to go about things a little differently. This time around, I need everyone's help.
I am trying to gather 1,000,000 signatures on www.socialvibe.com for the exclusive Whaleman Foundation petition. The goal is to stop all commercial whaling and lethal scientific research whaling by Japan, Norway, Iceland, and to enforce the current global whaling moratorium. This petition will be taken to the June 2009 meeting of The International Whaling Commission, where the petition will be personally delivered by me!
Please take 2 minutes of your day to go to , sign up, pick Whaleman Foundation as your cause, and add SocialVibe to your MySpace, Facebook, blog, etc. While there please sign the Whaleman petition.
Here and here are other links worth checking out!
